Nina Soyfer is a Ukrainian-Canadian composer, conductor, pianist, vocalist, musicologist, prize-winning painter, poet, dancer/choreographer, and the developer of the Integrated Arts Method™ (IAM) for teaching. She holds a PhD in Music and Education from York University and an LRCM in Piano Performance. Her compositions are published by the Canadian Music Centre and have been performed internationally. She is also a prize-winning pianist, poet, and visual artist. Recently, Nina was honored with the Royal Conservatory of Music Teacher of Distinction Award, joining the ranks of leading educators across Canada and the United States. Nina’s teaching style is broad and adaptable, guided by her Integrated Arts Method™. This unique approach combines best practices from around the world with scientific research and the wisdom of ancient traditions. The result is faster learning, deeper retention, and a joyful, mind–body–spirit connection. She teaches piano, voice, composition, commercial songwriting, publishing, music video production, and artist development (including social media presence). Nina also teaches music theory and other instruments, and she often incorporates her students’ personal interests—such as painting or yoga—into lessons for a richer, more engaging learning experience. Above all, Nina believes in teaching from a place of love, peace, and encouragement. Her students achieve remarkable results, such as advancing from Grade 3 to Grade 10 piano in just one month, or preparing a complete beginner for university-level classical piano studies within two years.

We’ll work on technique, ear training, performance, and personal expression. For those who want to write their own music, I also offer songwriting guidance. 🎶 Artist Development – For students who dream of sharing their music with the world, I offer an artist development path: preparing, recording, and releasing songs and videos professionally.
