Colleen S. — Singing Teacher — Rosedale, Toronto

Colleen Scott is a Toronto based artist; vocalist, dancer, and composer. She has been teaching ballet and singing to children ages 3 - 10 for the past two years. Colleen has recently returned from Berklee Conservatory in a summer intensive. She graduated from Randolph College for the performing arts in 2019, then began to work in the Toronto theatre industry with shows such as Annie and Beauty and the Beast. As a teacher and active performer, keeping our voices healthy and learning sustainable practices early on is her biggest focus.

In our lessons we will be focusing on healthy practices, breath, tension reduction, and fundamentals of theory in vocals. Understanding how to build a happy and nuturing relationship to singing and performing will be a main focus in our time together! Other topics available are songwriting, improv, and music theory rudemntals; ear training, intervals, circle of fifths, etc.
