Christina B. — Guitar Teacher — Centre-Sud, Montreal

Christina Bélice is a guitarist, singer, composer and arranger living in Montreal After studying jazz at Cégep Marie-Victorin and Concordia University, she received the Sophie Desmarais scholarship to continue her studies in jazz performance at l'université de Montréal. An accomplished musician, she obtained a grant from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec for the composition of her first EP released in 2021. Two years later, she released a second album, this time with the support of the Conseil des Arts du Canada. Christina has performed in several festivals including the Québec jazz festival in June, the festival Nuit d'Afrique and the festival HaÏti en Folie.

I am a guitarist and a jazz/pop from the Montreal area. With my 10 years of teaching experience, my goal is to help you achieve your goals at your own pace. Patient by nature, I adapt to all levels, from beginner to advanced. I give lessons to young and old alike and I also have experience teaching music to people with intellectual disabilities. During the first lesson, we will take the time to get to know each other in order to create an effective connection for the evolution of the lessons. So you can tell me about your personal goals with the guitar. Then, we will tackle: -The technique (left and right hands, finger picking etc.); -Tablatures; -Scales, chords, arpeggios; -Solfège (If the student wishes); - Learning songs; -How to accompany yourself on the guitar (Sing and play at the same time)
