- 10 consecutive years of pop/jazz and classical singing lessons (from 7 to 17 years old); - DEC: Professional techniques in music and song at CEGEP de St-Laurent, instrument: jazz singing, profile: interpretation; - Teaching music from 2018: voice, piano and music theory courses; - BAC: Jazz Studies at Concordia University, instrument: jazz vocal. In addition to being part of several emerging musical projects in Montreal, I focus on composing, writing and arranging my own music.

I offer teaching adapted to the needs of the student: his/her existing or non-existing musical background, experiences, goals, fears, strengths and behaviours are all points to consider from the get go. I like to establish a calm climate, where security and trust can allow the student to let go as much as possible, while offering stimulating and accessible challenges. Mindfulness is my foundation: being fully aware of our body and our breathing is necessary to gain control over them! I therefore propose a detailed breathing and warm-up routine (adapted to the student's taste and level), which will be implemented at the beginning of every lessons. The rest of the class is usually dedicated to repertoire: applying the notions previously learned to pieces of various styles (Pop, Jazz and derivatives), proposed by the student or by me. I can also offer: - Preparation for audition(s); - Lessons on self-accompaniment on piano and percussions; - Teaching theory, solfeggio and jazz concepts, from beginner to advanced levels; - Basic and advanced improvisation, composition and arranging concepts. I am extremely attentive to needs, and am aware that playing an instrument is not always easy. In my opinion, the most important thing is to strive for a healthy balance: self-improvement and self-fulfillment in a caring, playful and fun way! ** Minimum age: 10 years old All levels (beginner to advanced)
