**EN:** Martin Choquette is a passionate and dedicated violinist, specializing in classical and baroque music. Born in Montreal, he began his musical journey at an early age, following rigorous training that led him to excel in his art. After obtaining his DEC in music at the École de Musique Vincent-d'Indy, Martin continued his studies at the Université de Montréal, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in performance, before completing a Master of Music at McGill University's Schulich School of Music. He is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma program in early music, perfecting his baroque violin skills. During his training, Martin won several awards, including a Canada Council for the Arts grant for artists' professional development. He has also taken part in numerous master classes and advanced training courses, both in Canada and Europe, where he has had the opportunity to work with renowned artists. Alongside his career as a performer, Martin devotes part of his time to teaching, sharing his passion for music with his students. His commitment to music education reflects his belief that music is a powerful means of connection and expression.

Violin lessons with me are for students that want to learn violin as a hobby or for students that wants a deeper comprehension of the instrument with a historical aspect and advanced techniques. I teach all ages, debutant as well as advanced!
