In my approach, the desires of the student are at the center of my pedagogy. In other words, I start from the desires and projects of each and every one, in order to develop a unique and specific program for each individual. My approach to teaching is intended to be as holistic as possible (from the Greek term holos which means the whole), and which therefore takes into account all aspects of each individual. My main teaching qualities are great versatility and great adaptability. I have been in contact with many pedagogical approaches during my career, the course topics can be very broad, but in short, here is a non-exhaustive list: Musical styles: Jazz (Swing, Bebop, Hardbop, Modal, modern etc …), Blues, Rock, Latin, Funk, Jazz Fusion and Popular Music Instrumental technique: Berklee Guitar Program, knowledge of the neck, technical studies from jazz and / or classical repertoires, CAGED system, 7-position system, arpeggios and substitutions, etc … Harmony: reharmonization, voice leading, hard bop minor system (Wes), Barry Harris system, modal harmony and reharmonization, etc … Arrangement: arrangements for ensembles (Berklee Method)
