I spent my childhood watching music videos, listening to music and attending dance and music lessons. At 7 years old, sitting on the couch with my dancing friends watching Britney Spears’ Dream Within a Dream concert, I knew I wanted to become an artist. I started private singing lessons at 7 and have been performing on stage since I was 2. With over 25 years of experience in the performing arts, I’ve had the opportunity to perform on Disney Channel, place 5th on The X Factor Australia with my girl group BEATZ, where I was mentored by Mel B (Scary Spice), and perform alongside artists including Little Mix, Ashton Merrygold, Justice Crew and Isaiah Firebrace. Since moving to Toronto, I’ve developed my passion for songwriting and releasing original music. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to perform the Canadian and American national anthems at the Toronto Blue Jays stadium. I studied Music and Musical Theatre at The McDonald College of Performing Arts and have completed my CPM Australia Vocal Examinations with Distinction, as well as Music Theory, Musicianship and Piano examinations with Distinction and Honours with Distinction. My professional development has included LAAMP (Los Angeles Academy for Artists and Music Production) and currently in the Top 20 Canadian artists in Samsung True North Tunes Contest. I have also been fortunate enough to be mentored by Stargate, the legendary songwriting and production duo behind music for artists including Beyoncé, Rihanna and Katy Perry. As a teacher, my goal is to create a fun, relaxed and encouraging environment where students can build confidence, develop their skills and truly enjoy music. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced performer, I tailor lessons to your individual goals and interests. Most importantly, I want my students to fall in love with music and feel confident expressing themselves through it.
